Hello ARTA-
I represent the Lake Placid - North Elba Historical Society (LPNEHS) and had gone back and forth with Brian on some ART topics last summer. We are working with DEC, Open Space Institute (OSI) and Village of Lake Placid on conveying property to be used as the northern terminus of the ART on Station Street in Lake Placid.

The map produced does not show snowmobile trailer parking at the snowfields parking area on Old Military Road adjacent to the ART crossing there. There will not be trailer parking available at the trailhead on Station Street but it is available on Old Military Road. Future reprints of the map should include this feature for snowmobilers.

Please provide contact info for whoever is handling ARTA inquiries until a new Director is hired, I will continue to be the contact for the LPNEHS.
